Sykloplast is recycled plastic pellets for the needs of the future

Syklo supplies high-quality recycled plastic pellets, Sykloplast, that can be widely used as raw materials across the plastics industry. Sykloplast is also suitable for applications where recycled raw materials were previously unsuitable.

Currently the products are supplied to our customers from the facility of our strategic partner in the UK. At the beginning of 2026, production will move to Hyvinkää Finland when Finland’s largest plastic recycling plant opens there.

A tailored solution designed specifically for the plastics industry 

Our product portfolio includes PP, HDPE, and LDPE plastic grades. We are able to provide optimised products for various production methods, such as injection moulding, blow moulding, and extrusion. Our technology also allows for superior quality in product dyeing. 

Syklo’s high-quality recycled plastic pellets are always tailored to meet the customer’s individual needs. For example, we adjust the melt flow rate to the optimal level according to the customer’s requirements. We supply products with both a high melt flow rate (e.g., MFI40) and a low melt rate. Thanks to our technology, it is possible to modify the melt flow rate without compromising other mechanical properties.  

The tested products have been approved for a wide range of applications, including cosmetic packaging, fuel canisters, and silicone tubes. We are eager to collaborate with our customers in developing solutions for new applications and product groups.

More sustainable plastics through recycling  

Producing plastic pellets from recycled materials significantly reduces the demand for virgin plastic, thereby lowering the material’s environmental impact. Recycling plastics instead of incinerating them as waste significantly reduces the greenhouse gases produced during waste incineration. All the plastic we recycle is PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastic.

Patented BOSS Technology 

The plastics sorting technology used at Syklo’s plastics recycling plant is a unique innovation developed by Scottish plastics recycling company Impact Recycling.

The process employs two distinct patented technologies, one of which enables the recycling process to separate plastics with very small density differences.

Density-based differentiation enables the recycling of black plastics, which were previously challenging to recycle. At the same time, the technology enables the production of a significantly higher-quality final product.
