Syklo’s New Circular Economy Hub in Finland
Syklo’s circular economy hub in Hyvinkää is the largest of its kind in Finland, processing up to 50,000 tons of plastic annually. It combines plastics recycling and biocomposite manufacturing, enabling significant environmental and economic benefits.
The hub can improve recycling rates by up to 50% and reduce CO₂ emissions by as much as 100,000 tons (CO₂eq) annually. We combine advanced sorting technologies and closed water circuits to ensure that microplastics do not end up in water systems.

SYKLOPLAST –
RECYCLED PLASTIC PELLETS
Sykloplast is Syklo’s range of post-consumer recycled plastic pellets: PP, HDPE and LDPE grades engineered for injection moulding and extrusion, including blow moulding and film extrusion. Excellent mechanical properties, high processability, consistent quality: suitable for applications where recycled materials were previously not an option.
Advanced sorting technology enables the recycling of black plastics and produces a significantly higher-quality final product.

SYKLOCOMP-
BIOCOMPOSITE
Syklocomp is Syklo’s natural fibre masterbatch made from recycled cellulose fibre. A sustainable, high-performance alternative to glass-fibre reinforced plastics and technical polymers such as ABS and PC/ABS: unique material properties and lower carbon footprint.
Recyclable up to 7 times without loss of properties. Annual production capacity: 8,000 tn masterbatch, enabling 14,000–40,000 tn of ready-made compounds.
