Syklocomp is Syklo’s natural fibre masterbatch made from recycled cellulose fibre. A high-performance, sustainable alternative to glass-fibre reinforced plastics and technical polymers such as ABS and PC/ABS; refined, optimised and ready for industrial scale.
Annual production capacity: 8,000 tn masterbatch. Enables 14,000–40,000 tn of ready-made compounds annually. Target: 3x scale-up by 2029.
Syklocomp masterbatch grades
PP70: Polypropylene with 70% cellulose fibre.
RPP70: Polypropylene with 70% recycled cellulose fibre.
RPE70: Polyethylene with 70% recycled cellulose fibre.
Additionally, we also offer customised solutions for other plastics.

Syklocomp is designed as a drop-in reinforcing additive to replace glass-fibre and other technical polymers such as ABS and PC/ABS in injection moulding compounds.

Patented wet-web technology: quality you can measure
Our patented wet-web technology preserves the full length of cellulose
fibres during processing. This is achieved by:
- Protecting the fibres throughout the process
- Preserving the length of cellulose fibres
- Increasing the surface area for improved chemical compatibility
- Ensuring optimal fibre entanglement due to retained aspect ratio and micro-fibrillated fibre surface
- Improving dispersibility
- Creating a reinforcing interpenetrating 3D fibre network
Longer fibres and stronger fibre-to-fibre binding mean better mechanical reinforcement, more consistent batch quality and predictable performance in your production line.

Syklocomp’s 3D reinforcing fibre network and exceptional dispersion
enable high mechanical properties and use in a wide range of

Syklocomp also enables the use of PCR plastics in areas where it has
previously been difficult, for example replacing technical polymers
with PCR PP-based biocomposite.

Ecoaims was looking for a more sustainable material that was also mechanically stronger than their previous solution. After publishing their first Environmental Product Declaration, Climecon identified conventional plastics as a significant source of emissions.
