Sykloplast Recycled Polypropylene Granules – PP, HDPE & LDPE

Syklo supplies high-quality recycled plastic pellets, Sykloplast, that can be widely used as raw materials across the plastics industry. Sykloplast is also suitable for applications where recycled raw materials were previously unsuitable.

01

Why choose Sykloplast recycled PP pellets?

  • Excellent processability: stable melt flow rate across batches
  • Unique mechanical properties for post-consumer recycled PP
  • Low odour and consistent colour: suitable for demanding applications
  • Secure supply from the Nordics’ largest PCR plastic recycling facility (50,000 tn/year total capacity)
  • Traceable post-consumer recycled (PCR) origin

02

Grades and specifications, tailored for your process

Sykloplast is available in PP, HDPE and LDPE grades, optimised for injection moulding, blow moulding and extrusion. We adjust the melt flow rate to the optimal level for your process, from high MFI grades (e.g. MFI40 for injection moulding) to low MFI grades for blow moulding, without compromising other mechanical properties. Custom grades and MFI ranges available on request.

Stock colours: White, Black, Off-Blue, Off-Red. Custom colours available on request.

03

Engineered for your application

Superior colour control and dyeing technology open Sykloplast up for applications previously considered unsuitable for recycled materials, including cosmetic packaging, fuel canisters and silicone tubes.

We are eager to collaborate with our partners in developing solutions for new applications and product groups. Throw us a challenge. We will find the grade for it.

04

Post-consumer recycled plastic and a compliance advantage

Producing Sykloplast from post-consumer recycled plastic significantly reduces demand for virgin material and cuts greenhouse gas emissions compared to incineration. All Sykloplast grades are PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastic.

For our partners, this means documented recycled content for EU PPWR compliance, traceable raw material origin for Scope 3 emissions reporting, and a credible sustainability story for your own customers.

With us, neither results nor responsibility are compromised.

05

Patented BOSS Technology

The sorting technology at Syklo’s recycling facility is a unique innovation developed by Scottish plastics recycling company Impact Recycling. Two patented technologies work in tandem – one of which separates plastics with very small density differences.

This enables the recycling of black plastics, previously one of the most challenging waste streams to process. The result: a significantly higher-quality final product with consistent colour and mechanical properties.

The full production process:

1. Pre-shredding and granulation to flakes
2. Multi-step washing process
3. Density-based sorting using only water as medium
4. Colour and NIR-sorting for highest product quality
5. Tandem extrusion (single-screw + twin-screw)
6. Closed-loop water management: ultra-filtration, reverse osmosis and mechanical evaporation

This is what “Master of PCR Plastics” means in practice.

06

Technical support and the testing process

We are a curious team of experts with the ambition, technological capability and creative problem-solving to make things happen. We support our partners at every stage: from initial trials and grade selection to full-scale production optimisation.

We help ensure Sykloplast performs reliably in your process and meets your quality requirements. And when wonders are required, we deliver them.
