Syklo at Fakuma 2026: Explore Our Circular Economy Materials
This October, Syklo is heading to Fakuma 2026 in Friedrichshafen, the world’s leading event for industrial plastics processing. We will be showcasing Syklocomp biocomposite and Sykloplast recycled plastic pellets, and Syklo will also be speaking at the Fakuma Forum. Come and meet our team and take a closer look at our material samples.
Fakuma: the meeting point for plastics processing in Friedrichshafen
Fakuma runs from 12 to 16 October 2026 at Messe Friedrichshafen on the shore of Lake Constance, and it is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm. This year marks the 30th Fakuma, so it is a milestone edition. Fakuma brings together the industry’s entire value chain, from injection moulding and extrusion through to 3D printing, masterbatches, raw materials and recycling. At the previous event in 2024, there were 1,639 exhibitors, 47.5% of them from outside Germany, and the event attracted 36,675 visitors.
The circular economy and sustainable plastic solutions are major themes at this year’s fair, as saving resources and moving towards a circular economy are key themes for many visitors.
Syklocomp and Sykloplast on show
We’re bringing two material solutions to Fakuma that have already found their way into demanding industrial applications:
- Sykloplast recycled plastic pellets: high-quality PCR plastic for packaging, automotive, electronics and other applications.
- Syklocomp biocomposite: a natural fibre-based biocomposite that combines high performance with a significantly smaller carbon footprint.
Both materials are made at Syklo’s circular economy hub in Hyvinkää, where Finland’s largest plastic recycling plant and a large biocomposite plant have been completed and are currently being commissioned. Biocomposite is already being produced at the same site on a smaller scale.
At our stand you can explore the materials up close. We’ll also show how the circular economy works in practice, and how we turn waste into value.

Syklo speaks at the Fakuma Forum
Syklo has its own speaking slot at the Fakuma Forum on Wednesday 14 October at 1 pm. The talk takes the audience to the heart of the circular economy. It shows how plastic waste is refined into raw materials for demanding applications, and what that means for companies that want to increase their share of recycled materials without compromising on quality.
