Syklo Takes the Stage at Europe’s Premier Plastics Recycling Event in Amsterdam

Circular economy company Syklo is heading to Amsterdam this spring to participate in the Plastics Recycling Show Europe 2026 (PRSE 2026). Held on 5–6 May at RAI Amsterdam, PRSE is the continent’s most important dedicated event for plastics recycling, bringing together innovators, manufacturers and industry decision-makers from across the entire value chain. Now celebrating its tenth anniversary, the event is the leading forum for anyone shaping the future of plastic circularity in Europe.

Recycled Plastic Pellets and Biocomposite Built for Industry

Syklo will use the platform to showcase two material solutions that are already finding their way into demanding industrial applications:

Both materials will be produced at Syklo’s Hyvinkää site, where Finland’s largest plastic recycling plant and large scale biocomposite plant are currently under construction and set to open later this year. Syklo already operates smaller scale biocomposite production at the same location.

Eero Martikainen on Stage at PRSE 2026

One of the highlights of Syklo’s participation is a conference presentation by Eero Martikainen, Head of Partnerships at Syklo. His talk is titled:

“From Waste to High-Performance: Redefining Plastic Circularity with Sykloplast & Syklocomp”

The presentation will give the audience a concrete look at how industrial and post-consumer plastic waste can be transformed into high-performance raw materials and what that means for companies looking to increase their recycled content without sacrificing quality.

“European industry is under growing pressure to increase the use of recycled materials. We want to show at PRSE that this does not have to mean compromising on performance. Sykloplast and Syklocomp are proof that recycled and bio-based materials can meet the demands of the most challenging applications,” says Eero Martikainen.
