Syklo’s Hyvinkää Team Gets a New Face: Jenni Heini Joins as Account Manager
Syklo’s Hyvinkää team has been strengthened as Jenni Heini joined the company as Account Manager in April 2026. Jenni works at the customer interface at the Hyvinkää circular economy hub, playing a key role in customer management, invoicing and order coordination.
In her role as Account Manager, Jenni is responsible for maintaining customer price lists and product nomenclature, logging orders into the ERP system, handling invoicing, and managing day-to-day customer communication. She also takes care of contract documentation and archiving. Since the role is essentially a new one at Syklo, Jenni has the opportunity to shape and develop it as she goes – which adds an extra dimension to the job.
“The first few weeks have been really inspiring. There’s something new to learn every day – about the industry itself, but also about everything that goes into running operations at this scale. Luckily I’m starting to know enough to ask the right questions,” Jenni says.
Her colleagues have made her feel at home from the start, and the atmosphere within the team left an impression early on.
“You can tell that people here actually listen. Even when you don’t know something, you never feel like you’re left to figure it out alone. That matters a lot when you’re new,” she says.
Circular economy: a personal interest, not just a job
The circular economy sector is new territory for Jenni professionally, but it is a subject she has cared about for a long time. Her background in the banking and industrial sectors has given her a solid foundation for working in a customer-facing coordination role.
“The environmental impact of how we produce and consume things genuinely worries me. What’s happening here is something truly new at real scale, and I want to be part of it,” she says.
Jenni grew up in Hyvinkää, so Syklo was already on her radar before she applied. The company’s rapid growth and significant investments had caught her attention. When the Account Manager position was advertised around Christmas, she decided to go for it.
“I’d already noticed that Syklo was recruiting across a wide range of roles and that the investment behind it was serious. When this position came up, I thought: I have to apply,” she says.
The diversity of the team also made an impression. Syklo brings together people from a wide range of educational and professional backgrounds. That is something Jenni sees as one of the company’s real strengths.
The link between production and sales
Jenni describes her strength as the ability to see the bigger picture and work effectively at the interface between different functions – particularly between production and sales, which don’t always speak the same language.
“I try to see the whole process and act as an honest go-between for all the parties involved. A kind of link that keeps things connected without stepping on anyone’s toes,” she says.
Her immediate priority is building a solid overall understanding of the operation: getting to grips with the new ERP system, mastering the product nomenclature, and taking ownership of existing customer accounts before production ramps up to full capacity. Looking further ahead, international markets will bring new dimensions to the role.
“The scale of it only really starts to sink in when you walk through the production facilities. The machinery is enormous. But that’s exactly what makes it exciting. We’re genuinely doing something new here,” Jenni says.
Always on the move with two dogs in tow
Outside of work, Jenni describes herself as someone who is always on the move. She exercises regularly and enjoys pushing herself. At home, two dogs keep her busy with plenty of outdoor time. That same appetite for a challenge shows up in her leisure pursuits too: she has signed up for both the Finlandia Ski Race and a crossfit competition.
“I wouldn’t say I’m reckless, but I do get excited easily. Maybe that’s the same attitude that made me go for this job,” she laughs.
A warm welcome to the Syklo team, Jenni!
